Role Overview

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of electric vehicle (EV) service center construction projects. The role involves managing project documentation, onboarding processes, dashboards, and purchase orders, as well as coordinating with internal teams and external partners.

Responsibilities include supporting project delivery, creating checklists from feasibility reports, managing onboarding processes, maintaining dashboards and trackers, coordinating purchase orders, and facilitating regular meetings.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of experience in construction project management or related roles
  • Experience creating checklists from feasibility reports from vendors is preferrable
  • Exposure to EV infrastructure or service center construction is beneficial
  • Experience supporting construction of service centers, transportation hubs, or infrastructure-heavy facilities
  • Familiarity with permitting and utility coordination processes
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and project management tools (e.g., Procore)
  • Experience with dashboard tools such as Power BI or Smartsheet is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project needs
  • Comfortable working in both field and office settings, with occasional travel as needed
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage documentation across multiple projects
  • Knowledge of EV systems, charging infrastructure, or fleet operations is beneficial
