Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) seeks to hire an Assistant Project Manager to oversee water and wastewater system projects in the upstate watershed. The selected candidate will assist in supervising projects, monitoring permit requirements, and conducting field condition surveys. The position requires excellent communication skills, ability to meet deadlines, and flexibility in assignment of work responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from an accredited college
  • Two years of full-time satisfactory experience in chemical engineering work
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of project management principles, specifically the procedures used by DEP
