Job Description
The NYC Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to be an Assistant Project Manager for the Water System Capital Program directorate. The selected candidate will assist in supervising water and wastewater system projects, planning and coordinating project implementation, and monitoring permit requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering from an accredited college
  • 2 years of full-time satisfactory experience in Electrical Engineering work
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite products (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • Understanding of project management principles
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and be flexible in assignment of work responsibilities
  • Ability to work extended days and perform field work in various weather conditions
