Role OverviewThe Assistant Project Manager will provide project, supervisory, and coordination support regarding ongoing project requirements. The role involves assisting project managers in documenting and logging change orders, submittals, requests for information (RFI's), and other project documentation. The Assistant Project Manager will also work with supervisors, trade contractors, and suppliers to assist the operations team.
What You Will Do
The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Assistant Project Manager include attending meetings, assisting with project coordination activities, managing schedules, project progress, shop drawing requirements, and material releases. The role also involves assisting the Project Manager(s) in monitoring project performance, managing established schedules and weekly reporting, and reviewing job costs, reports, project history, and purchase order history.
