Role Overview

HDR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Building Engineering Services Business Group in downtown Chicago, IL. Our team is an integrated facility and infrastructure design team consisting of core services of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural and Site Civil Engineering. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for the execution of HDR's project management tasks including proposal generation, quality control, risk assessment, and on time design deliverable execution.

What You Will Do

Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle under supervision of a Project Manager. Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently, track financial aspects of projects, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule. Work with the Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, 5 years related experience, and a Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license. Must be willing to travel and spend extended periods on site.
