Role OverviewHDR is seeking an Assistant Project Manager for our Building Engineering Services Business Group in downtown Chicago, IL. The team is an integrated facility and infrastructure design team consisting of core services of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Structural and Site Civil Engineering, focusing on Mission Critical, Healthcare, Science and Technology, Justice, Power Distribution, and Transportation projects. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for executing project management tasks including proposal generation, quality control, risk assessment, and on-time design deliverable execution.
What You Will Do
Coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's life cycle under supervision of a Project Manager. Produce and coordinate several projects concurrently, track financial aspects, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule. Work with Project Manager, Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- 5 years related experience
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license recognized by the licensing board for the location of the position offered
