Role OverviewThe Assistant Property Manager will support the Property Manager in a 94-unit 100% tax credit multi-family property, with a focus on performance guidelines such as recertifications, interviews, vacancy, make ready times, and delinquencies. This is an on-site position that requires prior property management experience, preferably with tax credit properties.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Manager will assist in and conduct initial and annual re-certification, service resident complaints and requests, market and track vacancies, conduct daily inspections, process tenant applications, maintain project files, and enforce tenant rules and regulations.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year experience in performing on-site property management and clerical duties, with a valid California Driver's License. Bilingual ability is a plus, and experience with tax credit properties and HUD program knowledge is highly preferred.
Requirements
- Prior property management experience, preferably with tax credit properties
- Ability to keep accurate records, demonstrate supervisor qualities, and enjoy working with others
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year experience in performing on-site property management and clerical duties
- TCAC experience highly preferred; HUD program knowledge is a plus
- Valid California Driver's License
