Role OverviewThe Office of Labor Relations (OLR) represents the Mayor in labor relations between the City of New York and labor unions. The Assistant Retirement Benefits Examiner will be responsible for verifying health plan premium payroll/pension deductions, reviewing employees' and retirees' data, and processing refunds.
What You Will Do
Verify health plan premium payroll/pension deductions, review employees' and retirees' data, process refunds, and correct Medicare Part B and IRMAA payments.

Requirements
- Associate degree or 60 credits from an accredited college, including 9 credits in mathematics, statistics, accounting, and/or actuarial science
- Four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and two years of experience in a retirement or employee benefits plan, customer service in a financial institution, or a position requiring the application of laws, rules, and regulations
- Satisfactory combination of education and/or experience equivalent to the above
