Role OverviewJoin CPKC, North America’s first transnational railroad, as an Assistant Roadmaster, ensuring the safety, reliability, and optimal condition of track infrastructure across your assigned area.
What You Will Do
Support the Roadmaster in enforcing CPKC safety practices, policies, and procedures, contribute to achieving compliance, service, and financial outcomes, and oversee emergency responses to service disruptions.

Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency
- Valid driver’s license
- 2+ years of previous railroad experience in track maintenance & renewal
- Minimum of 1 year experience leading track renewal crews such as rail tie crews
- Proficiency of railway track safety rules
- Application of the collective bargaining agreement
- Participated in an on-call rotation, providing emergency response support every other week
