Role Overview

The Assistant School Director will lead a staff of talented educators and execute educational programming for children aged 6 weeks to 12 years. They will work directly under senior leadership, collaborating in a supportive environment to grow in their field and share their passion for early childhood education.

What You Will Do

The day-to-day responsibilities include developing and leading a talented team, understanding and complying with regulations, pursuing enrollment growth and quality care, managing operations, and meeting performance standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate's Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA
  • Minimum of 2–4 years of leadership experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a licensed childcare facility
  • Advanced knowledge in early childhood education
  • Flexible in challenging situations
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships
  • Commitment to professional development
  • Effective decision-making skills
  • Proficient in the use of technology, including industry applications and MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Must meet state requirements
