Job Description
The New York City Police Department is seeking an Assistant School Safety Agent to protect the school building and grounds of a New York City Public School against trespass, loss, and unlawful activity. The role involves performing routine work, including greeting students and visitors, making inspections, and maintaining order.

Requirements

  • Must possess a high school diploma or its educational equivalent
  • Pass medical and physical requirements
  • Must be a citizen of the United States
  • Candidates must meet all medical, physical, psychological, and character requirements that a School Safety Agent must meet
