Role OverviewThe Assistant Site Director supports the Site Supervisor in developing and implementing a safe, nurturing learning environment for TK-5th grade students in the Sutter Extended Learning program. This part-time role is based in Santa Clara, California, and involves collaboration on curriculum, classroom management, and program operations.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include working with the Site Supervisor to create an enriched environment connected to curriculum and quality learning experiences, using Positive Discipline techniques, and supporting Project Based Learning and STEAM. In the Site Supervisor's absence, the Assistant Site Director performs all duties related to program operations, including problem-solving, communication, conflict resolution, and ensuring health and safety needs are met.

Requirements

- Ability to move freely to supervise and engage in indoor and outdoor activities with children
