Role OverviewJoin the YMCA of Greater Toledo as a Part-Time Assistant Site Director/School Age Child Care Lead Teacher. This position is a split shift, Monday-Friday 6:30am-9am & 3pm-6pm. Plan & implement the lesson plan and fun hands-on learning activities. Build relationships with students in your program, and their families.
What You Will Do
Play games, help kids build friendships, and be a positive role model for students. Serve snacks and lunches and do some light cleaning to make sure the space is clean and inviting. Keep group on task and inline with daily schedule.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a high school diploma or equivalent. An understanding and knowledge of children, their behavior and developmentally appropriate practices. Prior School Age classroom/child care experience is preferred.
