Job Description
As a full-time Assistant Store Manager at Famous Footwear, you will be responsible for inspiring customer connection, championing talent discovery, and leveraging insights to deliver results. You will support a culture of caring and camaraderie, foster a positive and proactive mindset, and maintain high standards of performance. You will work closely with the Store Manager to develop and refine your leadership and store management skills.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of sales experience (retail sales preferred)
  • Experience in interviewing, hiring, and training people
  • Ability to lead, manage, motivate, and communicate positively with store associates at all levels
  • Ability to train, coach, and develop associates to provide an engaging customer experience and execute operational tasks
  • Advanced working knowledge of general retail practices and procedures
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours
