Job Description
The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all areas of the store, including customer service, merchandise presentation, and loss prevention. They must learn all phases of store operations, follow company policies, and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for payroll administration, recruiting, and developing non-exempt associates.
Requirements
Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment.
Ability to supervise, motivate and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels.
Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction and follow through to completion.
Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment.
Fluency in English.
Ability to work evenings and weekends.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments.
