Assistant Store Manager

The Assistant Store Manager is responsible for the management and supervision of all areas assigned by the Store Manager. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager leads the entire operation of the Store to ensure Company standards and best practices are consistently met. The role involves learning all phases of Store operations, managing controllable expenses, and ensuring compliance with State, Local, and Federal regulations.

What You Will Do

The Assistant Store Manager will assist in the analysis of Store reports, communicate variances to Company standards, and ensure proper scheduling of Associates. They will also be responsible for payroll administration, recruiting, hiring, training, and developing non-exempt Associates, and maintaining a Safe & Secure Environment.

The ideal candidate will have two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment, demonstrate the ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively to Store Associates, and maintain high-quality Customer service. Fluency in English is required, and the ability to work evenings and weekends is necessary.

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively to Store Associates
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction, and follow through to completion
• Ability to set priorities and exercise independent judgment
• Maintain high quality of Customer service
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
