Assistant Store Manager

Responsible for the management and supervision of all areas assigned by the Store Manager. In the absence of the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible for leading the entire operation of the Store to ensure that Company standards and best practices are consistently met. The Assistant Store Manager assists in the analysis of Store reports to evaluate controllable expenses and overall Store performance. They ensure proper scheduling of Associates to meet business objectives and compliance with all State, Local and Federal regulations.

What You Will Do

The Assistant Store Manager will lead all Company Best Practices, maximize productivity, and minimize steps and touches while working. They will assist in recruiting, hiring, training, and developing non-exempt Associates. They will also assist in the management of and continuous monitoring of actual expenditures to be within budget and control payroll hours to plan.

They must demonstrate the ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels. Requirements

• Two or more years of Store or Assistant Store Manager experience in a retail environment
• Ability to supervise, motivate, and communicate positively to Store Associates at all levels
• Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize those tasks, give direction, and follow through to completion
• Ability to maintain high quality of Customer service
• Fluency in English
• Ability to work evenings and weekends
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail environments
