Job Description

HDR is seeking an Assistant Structures Representative to perform construction inspections, calculations, and record-keeping for highway construction projects in California. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of education equivalent to completion of a curriculum beyond the 12th grade in engineering or surveying, and at least 4 years of experience in structure construction inspection. The role requires strong problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills, as well as proficiency in MS Office.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years experience
Proficient with MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Strong written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attitude and commitment to being an active participant of HDR's employee-owned culture
Valid Driver's License
Valid Standard First Aid Certificate
Certification in the sampling and testing of fresh Portland cement concrete
