Job Description
The Assistant Superintendent will assist the Superintendent in managing the community job site, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring quality standards, cost management, and safety standards are met. The role involves inspecting homes daily, scheduling inspections, conducting homeowner walks, and enforcing site safety and cleanliness standards. The candidate will also be responsible for managing construction materials, supporting the construction schedule, and providing a superior level of customer service. In the absence of the Superintendent, the Assistant Superintendent will ensure all schedules, policies, and guidelines are maintained.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Six months to 2 years of related experience
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction
  • Ability to read plans and other construction documents
  • Ability to utilize DRH Construction applications on a smart phone, tablet, or laptop
  • Proficiency with MS Office and email
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
