Role OverviewThe Assistant Superintendent is considered a Superintendent in training, working under the direct supervision of the assigned Superintendent. The role involves performing daily site inspections, maintaining jobsite safety practices, and demonstrating commitment to an Injury-Free Environment. The Assistant Superintendent will also be involved in maintaining project schedules, monitoring site cleanup efforts, and verifying all inspections have been done.

The Assistant Superintendent will also be involved in maintaining project schedules, coordinating and directing laborers, and reviewing subcontractor documentation.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management or related discipline
- At least 1+ years of field construction experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Outlook
- Experience using construction software preferred
- Must be able to multi-task; prioritize; and work with minimal supervision
- Must have strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to frequently lift/move equipment and materials weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to use hands/fingers to grasp, move, handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to ascend/descend a ladder as needed
