Role OverviewThe Assistant Superintendent will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth movement of traffic within our road territory and yard-terminal, developing and organizing the daily operating plan in a safe and efficient manner.
What You Will Do
Deliver results against performance and financial metrics through asset utilization, participate in safety and business plan rollouts, and assist in establishing career development plans for team members.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The successful candidate will have 5+ years of railway experience, be qualified as a Conductor or Locomotive Engineer, and have knowledge of investigations and root cause analysis.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general equivalency
- 5+ years of railway experience, qualified Conductor or Locomotive Engineer preferred
- Valid driver's license
- Valid U.S. passport or ability to obtain one
- Must be or become GCOR rules qualified
- Knowledge of investigations and root cause analysis
- Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
