Job Description
Role Overview

The Assistant Team Leader supports the Team Leader in providing leadership and direct activities of a mobile multi-disciplinary treatment team. The role involves supervising staff, leading team meetings, and ensuring timely communication. The Assistant Team Leader will also spend 50% of their time providing direct participant services and 50% on administrative and supervisory duties.

What You Will Do

The main responsibilities include directing and supervising staff activities, enforcing timely communication, leading team meetings, providing direction to staff, and conducting individual supervision meetings. The Assistant Team Leader will also be available by cell phone for emergency consultation/crisis intervention and participate in an on-call rotation.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field
  • Licensure/registration as a registered nurse preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, rehabilitation counseling, or a related field required
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Word/Excel
  • Ability to research material via the internet
