Role OverviewThe Assistant Test & Evaluation (T&E) Specialist will perform technical, analytical, administrative, and material support for the USCG Team at OPTEVFOR in either the Assistant Surface, Aviation, or C5ISR T&E specialties. This individual will provide support for operational testing, documentation review, test planning, test operations, and test analysis and reporting.
What You Will Do
The Assistant T&E Specialist will review project documentation, draft critical operational issues, conduct background research, and provide analytical support and recommendations. They will also attend events, collect test data, and provide technical reports.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of USCG, DHS, DoN, or DoD Operational experience in Aviation, Surface, C5ISR, or as part of the CG-9, USCG, DHS, DoN, or DoD Headquarters staff. They will also be able to successfully complete the necessary requirements to hold a Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Certified Acquisition Professional certificate for Test & Evaluation Manager Level I.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics
- At least 5 years of USCG, DHS, DoN, or DoD Operational experience in Aviation, Surface, C5ISR, or as part of the CG-9, USCG, DHS, DoN, or DoD Headquarters staff
- Ability to hold a Department of Defense (DoD) or Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Certified Acquisition Professional certificate for Test & Evaluation Manager Level I
- U.S. citizenship
- Active DoD Secret clearance
