Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs

The Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs will assist academic departments with curriculum and program initiatives, coordinate workforce development strategies, and work closely with SUNY and SED to develop and oversee documentation for new degree programs or revisions to existing programs. The role will also facilitate the Five-Year Departmental Review/Academic Program Accreditation/External Program Review process and work with the Center for Counseling and Transfer on academic program articulation. The Assistant Vice President will participate in College Committees and external meetings, and assist with new academic initiatives, including Guided Pathways and Micro-credentials.

What You Will Do

The main day-to-day responsibilities of the Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs will include assisting academic departments with curriculum and program initiatives, coordinating workforce development strategies, working with SUNY and SED to develop and oversee documentation for new degree programs or revisions to existing programs, facilitating the Five-Year Departmental Review/Academic Program Accreditation/External Program Review process, and working with the Center for Counseling and Transfer on academic program articulation.
