Role OverviewThe Assistant Vice President of Bus Operations coordinates and directs all phases of transportation and maintenance activities for the terminal, overseeing the scheduling, training, and supervision of employees and ensuring compliance with Authority policies and procedures.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include coordinating daily transit and maintenance activities, supervising administrative staff, and counseling employees. You will also investigate accidents, respond to passenger inquiries, and survey new routes.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Transportation, Planning, Public Administration or related field
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in transportation management
- Five years supervisory experience in transportation and/or maintenance management and schedule preparation
- Ability to obtain a Michigan Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with proper endorsements within thirty (30) days of appointment
