Role OverviewThe Assistant Warehouse Manager is responsible for managing daily operations of the warehouse on their designated shift, including scheduling warehouse worker hours, inbound and outbound loading, Inventory Control, Maintenance of warehouse equipment and warehouse housekeeping.
What You Will Do
Ensure the facility performs yard checks, make sure yard has no trailers parked in such a way as to hinder movement of the other trailers, oversee loading/unloading of all carriers, and conduct periodic dock safety checks.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate will have warehouse management experience, solid experience in Excel, data entry, and general computer skills, and leadership and management abilities.
Requirements
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of management experience
- Experienced in Warehousing Management
- College Degree Preferred or extensive background in transportation warehouse management
