Role OverviewThe Assistant Warehouse Manager is a point of contact between customers, the sales team, and the warehouse. This position ensures a smooth process within the warehouse. The position includes filing paperwork, delegating tasks to the warehouse, assisting your immediate supervisor, filling in as acting warehouse manager as needed, scheduling inbound and outbound shipments, and supporting a positive and constructive work environment.
What You Will Do
Checking/knowing the status of incoming and outgoing shipments, setting up outgoing shipments with various LTL, Courier, and third-party logistics companies, communicating with all departments, and providing customer service.

Requirements
- Prior Management or supervisory experience preferred
- Able to pass pre-employment drug screening
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Experience in logistics, dispatch, and/or warehouse environments preferred
- Knowledge of Shingles, Windows, and General building products helpful
- Able to lift 40-80 pounds throughout the workday
- Able to walk, bend, lift, and reach for products for up to 8-10 hours per day
- Able to withstand environmental temperatures
