Job Description
The Assistant Warehouse Operations Manager coordinates distribution and warehousing in a cross dock operation, confers with customers, and develops plans for efficient use of materials, equipment, and employees. Responsibilities include reviewing costs, participating in marketing and sales efforts, and supervising warehouse positions.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of related experience and/or training
  • PC proficiency to include Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manual
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form
