Role OverviewReporting to the Head Women’s Gymnastics Coach, the Assistant Coach assists in developing a Division I competitive Women’s Gymnastics program. The primary function of the Assistant Coach is to teach student-athletes the sport of Women’s Gymnastics.
What You Will Do
The Assistant Coach works primarily with beam and floor exercise, evaluates and recruits qualified student-athletes, and supports the Head Coach in creating, planning, organizing, motivating, communicating, and controlling aspects related to recruiting, practices, competitions, and related booster clubs.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The Assistant Women’s Gymnastics Coach is expected to conduct themselves in a manner representative of the University, the Department, and the sport, both on and off the field of competition.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- at least two years of previous gymnastics experience as a collegiate coach, level ten (“10”) or elite level club coach, and/or collegiate student-athlete
- Experience administering Division I NCAA rules
