Job Description
The Texas Workforce Commission is looking for an Assistive Technology Specialist to join the South Texas Mgmt Unit 6-6 Department. The ideal candidate will have a background in human services, social science, or a related field, and have experience in social and rehabilitative services work, teaching and counseling persons with disabilities, social services, medical eligibility, or entitlement programs.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major coursework in human services, social science, business, or a related field
  • Three years and six months of full-time qualifying experience in social and rehabilitative services work, teaching and counseling persons with disabilities, social services, medical eligibility, or entitlement programs
  • Occasional statewide travel (20% of work time)
