Role OverviewThe Associate - Finance: Restructuring - Clerks role is part of the Restructuring & Special Situations Group within the Finance Department at Latham & Watkins. The team advises on financially distressed businesses, including debtors and issuers of public and private securities, creditors, equity holders, new investors, boards of directors, and senior management teams. The Associate will work on complex restructuring and insolvency matters, developing creative and value-maximizing strategies, and collaborating with other market-leading practices across the world.
What You Will Do
The Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing restructuring and insolvency strategies, working on complex cases, and collaborating with other teams. They will also be involved in creditor compromise procedures, security enforcements, debt rescheduling, liability management transactions, and other financial and operational restructurings.
