Role OverviewThe Associate Accountant position reports to the Fiscal Administrative Supervisor, Financial Management and Support Division, ROW and Property & Facilities Services Unit. The role involves assisting with complex DOT Rights of Way and property acquisition transactions, providing budget oversight, and coordinating procurement.

The main responsibilities include assisting the Fiscal Administrator Supervisor with complex transactions, providing budget oversight, and coordinating procurement. The role also involves leading 2 Accountants, 1 FAO, and 1 FAA, and performing other related duties.

Requirements
- Seven (7) years of experience in accounting or auditing
- One (1) year of the General Experience must have been at the level of an Accountant, an Auditor or an Accounts Examiner
- College training in accounting or a closely related field may be substituted for the General Experience
- Certification in any of the following may be substituted for one (1) year of the General and Special Experience: Certified Public Accountant, Certified Internal Auditor
