Role Overview

The Associate Analyst (Project/Cost Controls Engineer) will support a major public-sector capital improvement program in California, providing project controls, cost management, scheduling, and reporting support across a regional portfolio of complex capital projects.

What You Will Do

The responsibilities of this position include maintaining and analyzing project cost, schedule, and performance data, preparing project status reports, monitoring project budgets and expenditures, and supporting project leadership in evaluating potential impacts and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, Business, Architecture, or a related field
  • six (6) years of relevant experience in construction project controls, capital program analysis, cost management, scheduling, or a related field
  • experience supporting large, complex capital improvement or facilities programs
  • experience working on public-sector, government, judicial, civic, higher education, or institutional capital projects
  • advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, reporting, formulas, pivot tables, and large data sets
