Job Description
The CTA's Legal Department's Compliance, Policy and Risk section provides a wide range of support on matters including the Authority's portfolio of insurance contracts, internal policy/processes, ethics compliance and Freedom of Information requests, and legislative and regulatory compliance. This will involve research, analyzing, interpreting, and drafting policies, procedures, responses, and other legal documents.

Requirements

  • J.D. degree from an accredited school of law and licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois
  • 1 year of experience as a practicing attorney or 1 year of experience spent handling risk/insurance compliance or legislation/policy matters
  • Required to maintain appropriate continuing legal education credits
