Role Overview

The Associate Attorney will perform legal research, fact investigation, and preparation of legal documents. They will oversee and review pleadings, motions, and discovery related to the firm's clients in deed restriction enforcement and collection litigation. The individual will also attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials.

What You Will Do

The Associate Attorney will oversee high-volume pre-litigation and litigation dockets, attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and trials, and help coordinate workflow and supervise paralegals. They will also work with POA Shareholders and/or Associate attorneys and staff in other firm offices.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school
  • Licensed in the state of Texas
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in real estate litigation, property owners association law, deed restriction, and/or lien enforcement matters
  • Proficiency in both litigation and transactional legal work
