Role OverviewThe Associate Attorney will participate in all stages of cases, make court appearances, and develop defense strategies as part of a team of seasoned attorneys handling toxic tort cases and civil litigation.
What You Will Do
The Associate Attorney will manage a caseload of litigated claims, prepare them for trial, attend depositions, hearings, and mediations, analyze discovery, and draft briefs, memos, and client updates.

Requirements
- Actively licensed and in good standing with the State of New York
- New Jersey license STRONGLY preferred in addition to NY
- 3 - 6 years’ experience in defense litigation, with toxic tort experience a plus
- Substantial deposition experience
- Ability to thrive in a high-paced environment, requiring exceptional organizational skills, juggling priorities, and adhering to strict deadlines
- Client-focused mentality
- Must be a self-starter who can handle multiple projects with competing priorities and understand the importance of deadlines
- Ability to work flexibly and independently within a strong team
