Job Description
The NYC Department of Design and Construction, Division of Public Buildings, seeks an Associate Commissioner to provide leadership to the division's capital portfolio and program units. The selected candidate will be responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating every aspect of the division's architectural/building portfolio, controlling projects from initial concept to building completion and contract closeout.

Requirements

  • A valid New York State License as a Professional Engineer
  • Six (6) years of full-time satisfactory experience in chemical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, environmental engineering, mechanical engineering, or plan examining work
  • At least two (2) years of experience in an executive, managerial, or administrative capacity
