Role Overview

As an Associate Conceptual Design Engineer, Electronics Packaging, you will work in a cross-functional team to design and develop electronic packaging for NASA, military, and commercial space applications. You will contribute to the conceptual design and development of electronic packaging, including controller layout, interconnect, CCA's, and cabling. You will also support manufacturing of PWBs, CCAs, cabling, and machined components associated with electronic packaging.

What You Will Do

Your responsibilities will include working cross-discipline with the engineering organization to ensure program success, contributing to the conceptual design and development of electronic packaging, supporting manufacturing of PWBs, CCAs, cabling, and machined components, and working in NX to complete 3D solid models and 2D drawings in conjunction with Teamcenter.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Design and Drafting, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance
  • Interest in designing and/or testing circuit card assemblies, cabling, and enclosures for electronic control systems
  • Self-motivated, with strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Proficient communication skills, both in writing technical documentation and in presentations
