Role Overview

The Associate Contract Specialist will be responsible for processing procurements, overseeing the evaluation process, drafting solicitation specifications, consulting with various units, and maintaining procurement status reports and databases. The role is under the direction of the Assistant Deputy Agency Chief Contracting Officer (ADACCO) and is part of the Department of Youth and Community Development (DYCD). The Associate Contract Specialist will work in an in-person setting in New York City.

Requirements

  • A four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent
  • Six years of full-time, satisfactory professional, technical or administrative work experience in one or more of the fields cited above
