Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate Director Cost Manager and/or Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management services for key clients across a portfolio of construction projects in the Greater Boston area. This role will support the delivery of commercial, workplace, life sciences, healthcare, education, and institutional projects, ensuring successful management of internal and external stakeholders and the delivery of high-quality cost management and quantity surveying services.

Responsibilities include leading a cost management team, interfacing with clients and stakeholders, performing quantity surveying, cost controls, and change management activities, and communicating effectively with numerous parties. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, driven, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field
  • Graduate degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management, Construction Management, or Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience working in a cost management role within the construction industry
  • Construction consultancy experience is strongly preferred
  • SME in Quantity Surveying, with RICS certification or equivalent accreditation
  • Experience leading cost management and quantity surveying services on commercial, workplace, life sciences, healthcare, education, institutional, or related construction projects
