Role OverviewDirect a team of clinical staff working in support of clinical studies to ensure projects are appropriately resourced and employees are trained and meeting project objectives. Work with senior leadership in formulating effective strategic goals and objectives for designated organization and assures operational alignment with organization priorities.
What You Will Do
Manage staff, direct the hiring and selection process, ensure staff has proper materials and training, allocate resources to clinical research projects, manage quality of assigned staff's clinical work, identify quality risks and create corrective action plans, and ensure staff is meeting defined workload, quality and budget metrics.

The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years prior clinical trial experience, including experience in a management/leadership capacity, and advanced knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in scientific discipline or health care
- At least 7 years prior clinical trial experience
- Advanced knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements
- Knowledge of clinical research financial parameters and project financial tracking and accounting methods
- Strong leadership skills
- Effective presentation skills
- Computer skills including proficiency in use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
- Effective time management skills and ability to manage competing priorities
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and clients
