Role OverviewThe Associate Director, Global EHS will serve as a key implementation and site-support resource within Moderna’s Corporate EHS organization. This role will support the development, deployment, and standardization of global EHS programs, standards, and initiatives across Moderna’s manufacturing, laboratory, and operational sites.
What You Will Do
Support the development, implementation, and sustainment of global EHS initiatives, programs, standards, procedures, tools, and governance processes across Moderna’s global site network. Provide onsite EHS support to the Norwood campus, including technical guidance, program implementation support, risk assessment, incident/event support, inspection readiness, and coaching for site stakeholders.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Life Sciences, or a related technical discipline
- Significant EHS experience in a manufacturing, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, laboratory, life sciences, or similarly regulated technical environment
- Experience supporting or implementing EHS programs across multiple sites, regions, or business units
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement EHS programs, standards, procedures, tools, training materials, and governance processes that are practical, scalable, and sustainable
