Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead

The Associate Director, Global Medical Affairs Lead (GMAL) is a key contributor to the GMAL team within Global Medical Affairs (GMA) department. This role drives medical strategy and tactics to establish and elevate the impact of Sarepta’s science and therapies, specifically supporting Sarepta’s gene therapy for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD). The role reports to the Global Medical Affairs Lead for DMD Gene Therapy.

What You Will Do

Contribute to the development and execution of GMA strategy for product launch and life-cycle management. Develop medical materials (slides, talking points) for gene therapy and DMD, review and approve medical and promotional materials, and support congress, symposia, advisory board, and expert committee strategy. Build strong cross-functional relationships and disseminate scientific and medical impact with key stakeholders.

Requirements

• Doctorate degree (MD, PhD, PharmD) with 5+ years of relevant experience
• Preferred experience in gene therapy, rare neuromuscular disorders or related fields
• Analytical, with a track record of delivering goals while working in high performing diverse teams
• Demonstrated success in operating effectively in highly matrixed organizations where influencing skills are critical
• Experience in building strong and effective relationships with thought leaders and healthcare professionals
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deal effectively with deadlines with cross-functional teams
• Proven strategic thinking skills and ability to interpret and implement strategic directions
• Articulate with excellent communication and influencing skills
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed
