Job Description
Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group invites applications for an Associate Director of Graduate Medical Education to join our Medical Education team. This is a full-time opportunity based out of our regional office in Washington, DC, with a hybrid work model. The Associate Director is responsible for overseeing and advancing graduate medical education across MAPMG, including Kaiser Permanente's own accredited residency programs, as well as visiting resident and fellow rotations from affiliated institutions within the Kaiser Permanente of the Mid-Atlantic States (KPMAS) region.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree or higher in education, organizational development, or a related field preferred
  • 8–10+ years of experience in medical education or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience managing an ACGME-accredited residency program with demonstrated knowledge of current ACGME standards
  • Experience managing complex programs within a healthcare or academic medical environment
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and leadership skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively with senior leadership
  • Ability to commute to Washington, DC, on a hybrid/as-needed basis
