Role Overview

The Associate Director, Market Access Contracting reports to the Sr. Director, Market Access Contracting. This individual will negotiate and manage market access contracts across Sanofi's purchase and distribution channel markets – including Specialty Pharmacies, Institutional GPO’s, Oncology GPO’s, Hospitals, IDN’s, Physicians, Retailers, Wholesalers, and more. This individual will provide support on all new agreements, language negotiations, contract renewals and serve as the contracting subject matter expert while ensuring alignment with internal cross-functional stakeholders.

What You Will Do

Ensure timely review, development, and implementation of contract proposals, manage the timely development, negotiation and execution of all contract documents, and communicate contract status and key information to internal stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, MBA desirable
  • 5+ years of experience in the US pharmaceutical industry, with emphasis on contracting, pricing, or other areas of market access
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Demonstrated ability to influence a matrix team
  • High level of business maturity, interpersonal and collaborative skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
