Associate Director, National Security Leadership Program

The Associate Director will assist the Director of the National Security Leadership Program in shaping and delivering premier leadership education for the next generation of U.S. Space Force guardians. The ideal candidate is a seasoned leader and strategic program administrator who will provide operational oversight, strategic direction, and organizational stewardship for the Captain’s Leadership Course.

What You Will Do

The Associate Director will lead instructor management, curriculum execution, and continuous improvement efforts while ensuring alignment with university, government, and mission requirements. They will also oversee the coordination of programs, complete special projects, and assist the Director in formulating and implementing policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable field
• Eight years of related experience
• Advanced Degree or higher in National Security Studies, Strategic Studies, Leadership or similar degree
• More than eight years of experience in leadership positions and operations
• Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
• Ability to positively and professionally interact with clients and staff
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of office software and instructional programs
• Knowledge of principles and methods for teaching and instructing individuals and groups
• Skilled in utilizing various learning and active listening strategies
• Ability to orally comprehend and express information and use inductive and deductive reasoning
• Ability to facilitate and adapt course and the course content
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others
