Job Description
Join Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa as Associate Director of Events, leading the Events Department and driving sales revenue and operational excellence. Drive both sales revenue and operational excellence by cultivating new and repeat business, leading a high-performing team, and ensuring flawless execution of group and social events.
Requirements
Proactively sell group and social events
Conduct site inspections, prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and close sales
Leverage Hyatt's proprietary systems to manage accounts and track performance
Represent the resort at client events, trade shows, and industry networking opportunities
Oversee assigned group and social accounts, ensuring flawless execution
Partner with operations and event planning colleagues to deliver seamless experiences
Hire, coach, and mentor Event Sales and Planning Managers
Provide feedback, performance evaluations, and training to drive accountability and service excellence
Lead department meetings and collaborate on hotel-wide initiatives
