Job Description
KIPP Indianapolis seeks an Associate Director of Student Services to collaborate with the school leadership team to foster a culture that supports the school's vision and promotes respect and appreciation for all students, staff, and families. The ADSS will oversee the implementation of a powerful cultural vision for the students, staff, and families of KIPP Indy College Prep Middle School, lead the school's positive behavior incentive system, and teach three sections of an enrichment course aimed to implement explicit character education, increase emotional intelligence, and engage students in service learning.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Pass a criminal background check
  • At least three years of experience in an urban school setting
  • Experience teaching in an urban school setting
  • Strong track record of student achievement and student culture
  • Leadership experience coaching or managing others (strongly preferred)
  • Teaching experience (strongly preferred)
