Associate Director, Private Real Estate

We are seeking an Associate Director, Private Real Estate to play a key senior role within our investment team. This position focuses on underwriting, due diligence, portfolio construction support, and ongoing monitoring of private real estate investments—primarily through vertically integrated operator funds.

What You Will Do

Partner with the Managing Director of Private Real Estate on due diligence across prospective private real estate fund investments, generate high-quality underwriting and due diligence materials, build and review financial models, and monitor existing investments and manager relationships.

Requirements

• Strong private real estate investment experience, including underwriting, due diligence, manager evaluation, and portfolio monitoring
• Advanced financial modeling and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate assumptions and communicate conclusions clearly
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including preparation of investment memoranda and presentation materials
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines
• Sound judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with internal teams and external partners
• High proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Ability to successfully pass criminal background / credit check required
