Role OverviewThe Associate Director of Program Management is responsible for the administration and daily operations for Temple study abroad programs, overseeing the student application process, and designing a student-centered strategy for enrollment, advising, retention, preparation, and support.
What You Will Do
The Associate Director collaborates with program leaders, on-site staff, and partners to ensure the delivery of quality programming and services, leads a team of Program Managers, and addresses and resolves student issues before departure and on-site.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- At least five (5) years of experience in higher education, preferably in an international programs office
- Demonstrated understanding of the international education field and best practices in education abroad
- Experience in international education program management and admissions
- Commitment to student service and understanding of best practices in student advising
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse constituents
- Strong organizational skills and managerial leadership skills
- Previous experience supervising staff
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Experience in crisis management and managing student emergencies
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm, multi-task, and prioritize in the face of challenging and unusual situations involving students
